Hey guys, my bike has been maling noise in the top end after I bought it and figured it was probably due for a valve job. Well, I found out the noise isn't the valves themselves, but the rocker arm, specifically the exhaust. It's extremely loose and the up and down movement is causing the rocker arm and stem to constantly make contact. I can't find anything in the manual on how to adjust the rocker arm firmness. Any ideas? |

It sounds like you're talking about lashing the valves, which is a routine maintenance item on these bikes. Typically, the first lash is the most important as the cam/rockers/adjusters wear in during the break-in. It would be helpful to know what the mileage is on the bike (in the future).
