My buddy has been talking about replacing his CBR 600RR for some time now so last year we went for a blast down to Victoria to the Ducati/Triumph dealer and test rode one. He was very happy with it (I've been steering him towards it for some time as I know it's what he really wants :laugh: ).

Anyway, he called me up over the last couple days as he was looking at used ones. I suggested just going new since used prices are pretty close anyway. I made sure he knew to get the one with the quick shifter and the adjustable suspension etc. Well, the next day he called me and asked if I could run him out to the ferry. The net results was this;

It's got to be one of the most gorgeous bikes I've ever seen and it fits him perfectly. This was the real concern, he's had tons of bikes over the years and as we're all getting a little older comfort becomes more important.

As for the CBR600 RR - that may well come my way. I've done a bit of work on it and I know what's there. It's also pretty evenly matched as I think it's 107 HP or so (it has to be faster then the triple and if not, I'll put the Nitrous kit on it from my 125 :laugh: :biggrin: )

But I got to say, that bike (the Street Triple) is absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended and I can't wait to work on it as it looks really, really well designed.

Interestingly enough, it was a little rough on cold start and as soon as I heard that I realized that it could easily be fixed with my ECU.... :bike:
