I've just been tinkering for the first time with my bike, mostly to see how to get to the air filter, and have found a part loose inside the fairing that I can't find the right location for... any clues are more than welcome

Can you be more specific on where you found it? Also, what year bike?

It's a 2015, and was inside fairing under the headset/ fork mount, where it scoops forward, behind the front wheel.

Ya got me

What's really annoying is that it looks familiar but on my bike ('08) I've yet to run into a part that looks like that. If you figure it out, do let me know! :top:

Got it! It goes where the bolt fixes the petrol tank to the chassis. That's a relief!

So was it not installed from the factory?

Or was it a spare?

I must have dislodged it when I was tinkering under the tank!
