I'm pretty picky - here's how I did mine....

I got some used rear signals and then removed the stalks from the fronts and replaced them with the shorter stalks from the used sets.

I wanted to keep the bike as 'OE' as possible

That's what I thought when I saw your bike I know they were shortened but not lik with no
stalks where they use the stalk screw and a washer to mount it lik you I am also finicky about originality I refuse to by the LEDs looks it's time to look for some used rear signals thx
Ps I put back the snorkel the originality bug kick in I think it sounds better with it on also could use the practice to dismantle the top of the bike so I'm ready when the performance pack arrives lol

Yeah, I just prefer to do it properly. The good news is that rear signals tend to survive accidents so they are out there. The bad news is, they can still be a bit tough to find.

I'm not a big fan of LED's - The stock signals are very easy to see. I knew when I shortened them it would reduce visibility so I went with a method that kept a measure of safety and the OE reliability.

I've seen some pretty weird LED installs where you can't even see them. To me, that's dangerous.

It's been many years since I modified my stock front turn signals. Basically, they are in two pieces. I unscrewed them and took off one of the removable lengths and reattached to the shorter piece left over. Here is a short video on how to do it. Very easy and the results look great :)
