I've been looking at the bike market a bit and it seems that the they don't list the CBR125r anymore. Instead it seems the entry level bike is now the cbr300. So it looks like the 125 & 250 have been dropped?

It seems you're right.
I guess the Grom is the replacement entry level bike.
Honda UK still sells the CBR125 for £3 599

It looks like it's still for sale everywhere else - just not in Canada

This kind of makes sense, over here the 125 cc size is not held in high regard. Over in Europe, the UK or Asia, they are a bit more practical due to congestion and high population density. They've been riding scooters for decades over there and they've only caught on recently over here (in comparison).

My buddy's got 3 daughters and they have 3 boyfriends. Each of them (the boyfriends) got their bike licenses last year and each one picked up a CBR 600 RR to do it. Realistically speaking, that's the low side of normal in North America.

It's never made sense to me as I love the CBR 125, but, that's me. I don't mind making it faster so that it can be the bike I want it to be. Pretty much everyone else just gets a bigger bike

grom do look decent but are to small and you would have a few close calls as a lot of drivers wont be looking out for a mini bike lol

I wont mind doing my test but cant afford to do it
