So I've bought some new front wheel bearings and discovered they are the incorrect ones which really annoyed me. Does anyone know what bearings you need? I bought 6005's.

the bearings sizes for other bits of the bike would be a major help as well.

Thanks,
Alex

For the fronts? 6301UU Which I believe is just the standard 6301 sealed on both sides. Use the highest quality bearings you can get. They were a royal pain to install

Thanks Marv, going to get myself to the bearing shop tonight and get them changed. I've got my first track day on Tuesday so I've been getting everything ready, just front wheel bearing to change and get my new bars fitted and straightened

Awesome!!

Good luck with the track day :top: :bike:

BTW, when I had the fronts changed I brought the wheel down to a shop to have them do it. It's one of the only things I couldn't do as I didn't have the specialty tools. What the shop did was just tack weld a sacrificial bolt to the bearing and then pull it out that way. Pretty much any shop with any brains can do it but I don't have a welder.
